Third Party Parenting

Third party parenting options for building a family are provided by the experienced reproductive medicine specialists at CORM. Please call 281.332.0073 for more information on the many infertility clinic treatment programs and third party parenting options available.

When one or both partners face the inability to have a genetically related child, CORM's experienced staff can assist these couples with many third party options for building a family.

Egg Donation

CORM: Center of Reproductive Medicine offers an on-site, active Egg Donor Program for patients needing this service.

Donor Eggs increase the possibility of successful pregnancies for:

  • Women with premature ovarian failure
  • Women whose own eggs are of poor quality
  • Women in the older reproductive age group (under age 50)
  • Women with chromosomal translocations or genetic diseases that they wish to avoid passing on to their offspring

Egg Donation has been in practice in the U.S. since 1986 and has been proven to be a safe opportunity to assist couples in achieving successful pregnancy with the proper reproductive medical care.

The infertility specialists at CORM ensure that each couple is actively involved throughout the egg donation process, while providing a positive, nurturing experience.

CORM allows the recipient couple to choose a known egg donor, to select from our egg donor list of anonymous donors, or to select an egg donor from an outside egg donor agency.

The egg donor process takes approximately 6-10 weeks depending on the egg donor selected and the screening tests required.

If you are interested in becoming an egg donor for an infertile couple, please call 281.557.3089 or visit our donor info link.

Gestational Carriers

CORM can also assist couples who require the services of a gestational carrier.

A couple undergoes In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) using their eggs and sperm and the resulting embryos are transferred to a surrogate.

See below a list of reasons a couple may need a gestational carrier:

  • Absence of a fetus
  • Uterine Abnormalities
  • Medical conditions that make pregnancy risky for a woman’s health
  • Immunological abnormalities which may increase the chances of a miscarriage
